I made 2 blankets for Susan and Bowen's baby. The one on the right was knitted on size 6 Addi Turbo circular needles using
Patons Beehive Baby Sport yarn in Spring Clover. It's a basic checkerboard pattern created by alternating blocks of knit and purl stitches with a garter stitch border. It's a good size for a blanket to use in a car seat or to just cover baby.
The other blanket was crocheted using a size I hook. I purchased some organic cotton from
Knitpicks.com in "Malted Milk" and used
Lion Brand Cotton-Ease in Almond and Blossom and used it in a shell pattern. It's sized about right for a crib blanket.
